11th grade students will be taking the SAT (in place of the ACT) on March 24th during the school day. Students should be at school by 7:30 and remain at BCHS until testing is over (noon), even if they have V-School, Homebuilders, Dual Credit, or other outside program. Next Thursday, February 12th students will have homeroom at 9:30am to pick college score recipients (optional). Any student who is not in homeroom will need to get their access code from the front office at a later time and choose score recipients on their own. Students will be able to take a full-length free practice test on their Chromebooks at home after receiving the paper next Thursday.

Boone County Schools is launching a new mobile app to help students, parents, and community members know
what is happening on campus from their phones. Most families use their phones as a primary
means of communication, so we've created an app that is custom-built to your school for
smartphones. On the app, your students, parents, and community can read the latest
announcements, locate staff contact information, review upcoming events, and find important
documents. The Boone County Schools, KY app is available to download free from the Apple App Store or the Google
Play store.
